Rastersizeme is a compilation of digital works and reflections created by Suzie of suziesavings.
The name, “Rastersize me,” comes from the term raster, which is the opposite of a vector. “Vector” is just a fancy word for lines and the computer remembers it as a connect-the-dots image. In other words, no matter how much you scale it, the quality of the image will stay the same.
Raster images, on the other hand, are constructed pixel by pixel, and is generally what you are going to be seeing on this site. Though dealing with the specifics of color and resizing is a little bit more difficult than math-based vector images, one ultimately has more freedom with rasters.
“Rastersizeme” acts as a declaration of freedom from the binds of vectors and linear thinking from within the art world!
